I personally do it for 2 main reasons.
1) being my own pride in my car and the fact that I work hard to earn the money, spend it on my car and I am proud of it.
2) Its great when you know someone is looking at your car, not because its shit or because it sounds wank or because you look like a twat driving it...........because it looks and sounds good and people want to know who it is when they see you, its great to be recognised when your out one night and they say......"Your the guy with the Evo R's on a silver corsa aint ya" or things along those lines.
