recent films -

Fantastic Mr Fox - Fucking ace, funny as hell and the stop motion is incredible (Trailer)

The Hangover - Pretty good film, starts off really well and then peters out after 50minutes or so. Think it could have been better, but worth a watch (Trailer)

G.I Joe - Typical action film with a cheesey storey line, worth a watch but the 3D SFX lacks a little bit and the ending is a a little shite (Trailer)

Currently purchasing the Moon (Trailer) which looks brilliant.

Tropic Thunder is fucking dire. I dont think I laughed once. One of the worst films I have bought. Massive fail.

The Moon is a good film, captures the solitude perfectly. Constantly kept me guessing as well.

I lost interest in Tropic Thunder after a while. Was mildly amusing at times. But generally pretty lame. 4/10

I expected much much better from it. Just not funny at all. Very boring. Glad I bought it on DVD and not Blu-Ray

I went to see The Men Who Stare At Goats yesterday. Bit of an odd ball film, but at the same time it was very intruiging and also pretty funny in places. Some of it didn't make alot of sense, to me at least, but from what I did understand I liked. So for that I'll give it a 7.5/10.

worth seeing then? Seen the trailers, i couldn't make if it was a comedy or a serious film, or both.

The Moon is based around someone up on the moon for most their life talking to Kevin Spacey who plays a computer. The technician eventually goes out of his mind.
Its ment to be a good/strong story. I will be looking forward to this.

Gran Torino is a must see
Man on fire is a must see.
GI Joe was a bit shit, too OTT for my liking.

Im really REALLY looking forward to watching Avatar
