god i do miss WOW...
it consumed my life for 2 years... was worth it tho i ad to give up because every time i played it i got un controllable shakes so that put an end to my WOW life lol
would love to pick it back up tho.. but im more into getting all the game score i can on fallout 3

Guild is Deliverance on Executus (EU, obviously).
Now we're a 10man only guild, GuildOx recognises this (lack of 25man gear/achievements qualifies us for 10man strict) and when we killed AnubHC - we were ranked ~50th, unfortunately that's slipping every week as more guilds kill Anub since we slacked on Ulduar HM's over the summer - and we're still missing Algalon because of it.
I've just checked, and we've dropped to 110th  (59th EU / 2nd Realm) Hopefully we'll be getting Firefighter down this week, though we've never even tried it before  and that should launch us back into the top100.
According to GuildOx - only 0.45% of 10man guilds have cleared AnubHC - so we're not doing bad

We nailed Firefighter after about three hours solid wipeage last night, but fuck me I'm glad he's down!
Even went for a look at Algalon (without even checking tactics  ) - god damnit he's a seizure in the making

I play, casually with mates from work
Used to play hardcore back on release, was in a guild and we ended up joining Nihilum (now Ensidia) but they expected people to play 6 days a week for 6 hours a night, so i sold my account for £500 and bought a 360 when it came out
Didn't play for a year, then TBC came out so i paid a chinaman to level a character to 60 for me, then played it for a bit, quit for 6 months or so then found out guys from work played so i play with them now, we run 10man content for fun, ToC etc, and i do the odd Hardmore or heroic with the other guilds on the server.
Good game to waste some time on, but very addictive

what is the actual aim of the game?
im not looking to play, just interesting how many people get so addicted so there must be something in it.

There is no aim of the game as such, it never ends
Raiding is where 10 or 25 of you go into a dungeon and take on some badd ass people and bosses, killing them gives you nice upgrades to your weapons/armour etc
It's so addictive as there is a huge community that play it, the people you see running around are real people like yourself, there is always something you can do wether on your own or in a guild
It's a constant strive to upgrade and get better that keeps a lot of people hooked, that and new content and bosses, dungeons etc that are added all the time
