I find the running cost isnt too bad, i use it daily and can do 150 miles to about £30, which isnt bad imo.
Cheers for the comments

Been ages since i updated this thread!
26th April this year i did my first ever track day at Bedford Autodrome GT circuit in the 306.
The car performed brilliantly throughout the whole day! With one minor incident which involved me fully sideways at about 60mph which was scary but great fun! kept my foot planted on the throttle and corrected the slide luckily
Got to know the car really well and managed to pretty much destroy the brake pads and a set of tyres but other than that was great
No plans to do another track day in this car because ive bought a Nova as a track car that i will be sorting over the winter.
Heres some pictures from the day
After that i fitted new ferrodo pads and refurbished the wheels and fitted some new Toyo T1R 195/50 tyres.
Also purchaced some smoked headlights from the French Car Show earlier in the year.
The last thing is some genuine carbon bits from a company called Steamline Carbon in Northampton. The quality is awesome and they are something abit different imo.
I dont have any more plans now and just want to keep it a clean daily driver now
Also cleaned underneath the car abit included sandblasting and powdercoating the spare wheel, rubbbed down and painted the spare wheel cradle too lol!

Cheers Matthew
Ojc the Nova was a standard 1 litre and the guy who owned it has put in a 1.6 16v with throttle boddies, lowered it and thats about it! Its pretty mint so should be a good base to work from

Surely the 306 is a better track car?

Ojc - Sorry for late reply lol. I want to keep the 306 as a daily and dont want to rag it to within an inch of its life and risk crashing it on track even though in theory is a better track car than the Nova!
I brought the Nova because i wont have to worry about abusing it as it wont be daily driven and can be abit of fun for weekends etc ;-)
Cheers BYRON!
