You get 400lb/ft with about 240-245bhp!

Too access the spare wheel, undo the cable to sub (2 thumb screws) and lift box out

My mate knows it, if its the one we are thinking of, its more like 270bhp, had headwork and all sorts though!

Busy day for mine today, MOT in the morning which it passed with only 2 tyres and a rear disk as advisories (All stuff I know about anyway!) then in the afternoon went to a Rolling Road day at Monster Motorsport in Loughborough. It ran 145bhp and 270lb/ft, which was odd as everyone else ran lower than expected, although we think mine may have a rubbish map on it.

Heres the graph anyway! Pics and vids tomorrow

why does your bhp line go up then dip at approx 2350 rpm?

you must be able to feel that when driving quick?

It may be the torque spike which is affecting it, huge surge of power around 2,000 like all PD130's

Pics from the RR day

Few more of the install, which Im now rebuiling the box itself after a few had suggested about the size being far to big for the sub, which changes the layout a tad and gives more bootspace

LED's going in

Why are they? A 70bhp increase should see over 100lb/ft increase (as 2 mates running the same setup with 230bhp and 380lb/ft)

As some of you may know, I have suspicions that it may have a mild map on it, or even one of those 'invisible' maps. Sooo got some logs done on tuesday. First one is boost in 3rd gear, 2nd one is boost in 4th gear, and the last one is torque (just cos we could )

i want to know why there torque figers are so high. ive just been reading about a tune 2.0 dti with used lots of N2O and propane to make 317bhp and 407lbs ft

Maps that can't be detected easily by dealers/insurance.

The VAG 1.9 PD engine is a totally different engine compared to the Vaux 2.0 DTi! The PD engines make loads of torque, (130bhp and 230lb/ft as standard) a good stage 1/stage 2 map will see around 170-180bhp with a touch over 300lb/ft

As you said they make good power on just a remap. My PD130 is stage1 rempped and made 180bhp and 315lbft of torque.

Will be watching this thread for your future progress.

stage 1 map made 175 bhp and 285 lbs ft on my mates 130 bora.

No sory i ment VAG 2.0 tdi. not sure why i put dti. I was typeing to fast. To get 317 bhp and 407 lbs ft it had propane, N20, manifold, hybrid turbo, exhaust system, head work, intercooloer, cams and injectors. it also pulls to 6000 rpm.

So i realy do think your torque estimations are way over what you would relistacly get.

Common rail engine? if so totally different from the 1.9 PD's. 230bhp and 380lb/ft has been achieved on 2 different cars mapped by Paul at RS Tuning
