I have loads of problems with my shoulers.. But I think its more down the me lifting things wrong and I tend to shove/yank larger objects that I cant lift and end up pulling a muscle.

I like doing behind the neck press with an olympic bar but i (and a few others i know) have ended up hurting themselves doing it.

Most i've pushed was 110kg behind the next, (20kg bar + 45Kg a side) for 6 reps.

Couldn't do it now though.

Free-weight barbell or Smith machine because that's very impressive for free-weight! Fair play. I can do about 30 a side free weight normal pressing for few reps but I'm shit on behind the neck pressing. lol

That's free weight mate, seated press behind the neck. It felt like a fucking bus but i got 6 reps out.

I don't like the smith machine.

Oh look, it appears Ian has taken our advice earlier in the thread and just created a sub-forum for this sort of thing - Sports Day. Good name that, not sure why none of us thought of that before now.

Maybe this should be moved to the new forum?
