its not really been driven a lot recently you could tell it had been stood for a little while- green algae, slightly smokey, etc. It was up for £1500 so i didnt think 900 was too bad to be honest

Astra engine isn't too different

Get your hands on one of those inlets and an x16xe lower inlet manifold and your rocking

I think i am going to mate but im not quite sure what to mix and match. I was thinking about front lights, grill and then just bits and bobs from the interior. Anything you would suggest swapping?

The engine is out of a '95 Smoke Grey GSI. It has an Astra upper inlet on it but other than that is completely standard.

The car has a replica spoiler when i brought it, so changed it for an original GSI one, seems more streem-lined and less bulky. Was only in one piece so quite heavy, new one is alot lighter.

Glad i didnt waste money putting coilys on it, Never had any problems with the ones on it.
Great car all round.

Regret selling it already! haha

Update:

Not any pictures as its not one of those things you can really get pictures of but i've undersealed the entire car including rear beam, wheel well, front arms, sills and as much as i could of the bulkhead. So hopefully that should keep it good for a long while now

Todays update:

Well after finally getting one day off work i spent all morning helping a mate move into his new house. Started at 8.30am finished at 3pm so it was already a long day Finally got round to doing a bit of work on the car! Fitted my new smoked depos thanks to "pimping" Sanded down my arches, skirts and rear bumper. Gave them a couple of licks of primer then 2 top coats. They arent perfect though so need to go and get some more paint tomorrow and finish them off.

Things left to do are:
Get bonnet painted
Re-paint slam panel
2 new front tyres
Fit new stainless centre section with silencer
Fit mudflaps
Get new boot solenoid
Fit front bumper apron (when it finally arrives! Could be up to 4 weeks!! )
Paint front bumper
Fit wind deflectors
Build car back up
MOT
