Possibly End Result:

Just of course Flame Red instead; too lazy to find colour match

Also purchased a 1 Tonne Engine crane.

Which will be up for sale once im done, unless friends need to borrow

Also A Vaux friend managed to get me a proper sump plug for free, as they say "Ever little Helps".

Good man get it in there!

And if I learned something from my adventures of my engine conversion it's don't buy cheap parts as buy cheap buy twice!

I had to buy a siemens MAF sensor as the aftermarket one I bought failed and only bee 4months

Good luck to you!

PS: mayaswell get a lightened flywheel whilst it's all apart

As it stood saturday morning:

Havent been able to take many pictures of the progress will get one of the engine bolted in tomorrow.

Things Done:

Removed 1.2 Engine
Removed F13 of 1.2
Swapped the F15 with the F13 (Didint think it was gonna work at first but after fiddling she went on)
Bolted engine in
Put 1.6 rad in
Attached heater Matrix
Attached some of the Coolant pipes

Things left to do:

Attach the rest of the coolant pipes
Swap fuel basket/pump etc for Fuel System
Swap Hubs with the V6 Brakes
Lower Car 60mmSuspension
Swap the Arb for 1.6 ARB

And figure out where the wires i need are in the 1.2 Sxi loom that i need as different to the 8v and other 16v looms.

Hopefully if the snow holds out long enough will have it running by sunday night.

Update #7

Well done some work nothing major really.

Black spoiler not sure about this yet but looks better than pink one.

Half stripped out the back for now

Engine bolted in and almost wired up something is stopping it from cranking, think missed a wire out somewhere.

Also put the whole front end from the old sport on to the sxi (arb, lower arms, ball joints, hubs, discs, suspension)

Its an Astra G lump, its got a coil rack.

And she also cranked over earlier just need to sort the wiring loom out, have to pull it apart and make it look good then wire it all up again and complete the fuel system.
