My vote goes to Japan.
Low tax rate, high income, good medical insurance scheme.
(Foregin residents are entitled to medical benefits as long as you are employed)
Lots of public holiday (alomost every month).
Also decent motors out there. Have you not seen Tokyo drift

Im still debating where i'd like to go.
USA is still the best for freedom, but no job security, and only 10 days holiday, plus you get people shooting you, but superb weather, huge patriotism, and they love the brits.
Italy, would like to, but as Clarkson says, not the most "decent" way of living. More bent than a roundabout.
South France would be nice, unsure of laws though out there.
Could always move to India or thailand coast and buy a mansion for the price of a happy meal in McDonalds?

Well unlike a certain country, the thais are very respectful of their own kind and most jobs are given to thais first, and specialist things that thais can do are just not available to expats, eg hairdressing, plumbing, carpentry etc skilled trades as such. Basically they look after their own VERY VERY well here, and i think its a good thing even if it does stop me getting a good job in different fields, however you dont need a job paying 20k a year to live a good life here, even less than half that you'd be well away with some initial savings from uk

Dizzy And Damo are right about the Illuminati. I'd heard about it all long before the film came out.

What about the meeting I mentioned?
All the worlds most powerfull leaders go to it. One of the most secure meetings on the planet.....
What have any of you heard/read about it in the press though? Even though the press mogal owners also go to the meeting??? On agreement they don't publiscise anything about it.

roads are good and bad tbh, in Phuket where i live, the roads are mostly pretty good in populated areas, and their are some great roads for bikers however the traffic is pretty lethal at times, and 10000000's of scooters
There are some bike places already here, mostly specialising in all types, having said that there are some keen bikers here aswell, also plenty of choppers etc very nice customs around We have bike week aswell which is awesome but mostly choppers and customs but some real beauties.
A lot of bikes are brought in from BKK or ridden in, as import taxes here are through the roof unless its built in Thailand. The car and bike market is crazy, esp 2nd hand market as they dont believe in depreciation.

Bummer, thats my idea out then as i'd have to import Ducatis, Aprilias and Benellis in...
I've got such good plans, but no capital, that sucks ass.

Send them over in a crate or 2 in peices and declare them as race bikes and you pay no import duty on them. A bloke who used to race for us wanted 2 SXV's for the road in thailand and the way we got round it was to send them with the wheels, forks and bodywork off as race bikes and race parts...

You'd have to look into it more as im not the best source of information on bike import, it could be a very lucrative business if possible, as i said you'll have to research it more yourself. There are loads of loopholes for such things, say you set up shop in BKK then brought the bikes into Phuket on the back of a truck or in a lorry, again im not sure if/how that'd work but there are ways around it
