You cannot trust Autoexpress for anything. Why MIG are even quoting them is beyond me, I know that site sucks, but for the love of god.

The moment Auto Express is mentioned all credibility goes out of the window.

that looks like a fuckin big car! the diesel idea is a waste of time tbh...fuckin tractor vxr.
And jib the 'pressure to be more economical and control emissions'...dropping to a 1.8 is a mistake too IMO, it means the engine is working harder...especially as it puttin out 3bhp more than the 20LEH did.
sorry...but i dont really like it

A tractor VXR would be faster than an old cav, they could easily make a diesel as fast as or faster than the petrol.
Are they allowed to just make random photoshops and say this is the new X, or do they just always put artists impression somewhere.

oh really? theres some pretty fucking quick old cavs out there...
na, the diesel cant rev as high as the petrol and as it says there...its a good 80bhp behind. I just dont see the point in making their top-spec 'kick ass' model a derv...keeping it exclusively fuelled at the green pump makes it a little more special...rather than being the "petrol version of the VXR's".

You'd have thought so wouldn't you, but I've never noticed anything that say's so, apart from a copyright to some random 'forum type' name.... Don't understand the whole copyright, artist impression marlarky, so not sure whether that suffices or not?

OJC, i heard vauxhall were developing a twin charged engine, similar to that of the VAG TSI engine, and that where possible carbon fibre panels were to be used?
Not sure if this has been mentioned above or not.....

Its a massive grey area if you make an image, all you need is 'reason to believe' and you can pretty much call it anything you want, new Astra VXR, new Ferrari Enzo, new Eiffel Tower, it doesnt matter.
