Join the gym, get yourself out with your mates for a laugh, facebook a few birds to text and just live for yourself untill the new year.
Ive just split with mine, granted that i was the one who said we should split up but im still gutted about it cos weve bin on n off for 3 years! im doing ok without her, still text her n that but not done anything with her for nearly 4 weeks now and its getting easier.

happened to me about 2 months ago still not totally over it but ended I up with someone else after about 2 weeks (still with them) but i wouldnt of said it was the best idea in the world as i still think about the ex alot, but at the same time she has taken my mind off her at the same time.
If i had my choice again i wouldnt of rushed into a relationship again.

I split up with my girlfriend around this time last year. Then rushed in to another relationship with someone that turned out to be of the bunny boiler variety so that came to an end too. It was crap over Xmas even though it was me that ended it but now I'm not arsed about it. You look back and wonder what you were so bothered about.
