been collecting a couple of bits here and there. Got the adapters through the post before christmas

two 16mm adapters for the fronts and two 20mm for the backs. I trial fitted a wheel and thought the front adapters could do with a couple of mill shaving off them to give me more clearance. this will be done before i fit the wheels. Should look pretty scene when theyre fitted.

While fitting them i noticed i'd need longer wheel bolts so instead of buying mercedes ones i got a stud conversion kit which came today

useful kits and save lining up bolt holes

I also noticed the windscreen wipers were absolute pony so i got some of them aerowipers. they were alot cheaper than the ones they sell in halfords

I'll get the wheels fitted when the snow clears up

ok, i got hold of a magnex exhaust for a corrado someone was breaking on ebay, fortunately it was only 10minutes away although i ended up spending 3 or 4 hours removing the old system with an angle grinder and a drill using the hammer setting

I then fitted the adapters and wheels, i tried the fronts with a 16mm adapter and thought it stuck out abit too much so got my brother to machine them down to 14mm. I kept the rears at 20mm thick. to make things easier when i come to replace the spoiler motor(it goes up in 3 stages!) i removed the wiper and motor aswell. No inbetween pics unfortunately because i tend to just crack on with the jobs without taking a break

i got the rear numberplate surround colourcoded aswell, also done the handles, washer jets and roof strips. I think the only thing left to do is the side strips but they can wait

Thats about it for now, the sump smashed on the floor which has had me thinking about selling the wheels/adaptors and going down a more oem route with the car. I was looking at bbs ch's before i got the merc wheels but cant justify the spend right now
cheers!

cheers for comments again!

fad; because they are

ive been thinking about doing something with the rear lights for ages now, im in two minds whether to get some red lamin-x on the top halfs but then i'd have to get leds and resistors to get the indicators flashing orange again, and even then they end up looking like flashing brake lights.

if you get some of that lamin x stuff let me know what its like as i would mind some but i think i will probably just spray tint my lights and that looks really good.

also i found some ch copies today in 8`s but there 18`s. but only £350

i bought the lamix stuff and ended up selling it on after selling over peoples.

i think the best option for red rear is buying some nice clear lenses and tinting them red with spray. I've started to like the orange on mine now. But all red would look wicked on a black Rado

I sprayed these a few years ago for a guy, masked off bottom and used tinting spray on the top. Then pulled it off and lacquered the whole lot.
