I cant stand New Years, you pay 5x as much to get in places, and then cant get a drink and if you do they've doubled the prices.

I'll probably just have some people round my apartment, go for a few drinks in the local bars which I can walk to until about 11ish, come back to mine and put some food in and carry on drinking whilst watching the massive firework display The Lowry puts on from my balcony.

Dont really bother any more. Its just like any other night out apart from being too busy to get to the bar. I'll just stop at home.

Nothing planned at the moment. The mrs wants to go out and do something but I'd rather sit at home and watch Jools Holland TBH

25 of us have hired a scout camp in the woods with various log cabins, even mixture of male/females cost us £10 each. We will take our own drink and my mate is taking his DJ setup. We all refuse to pay the silly NYE prices invloved in 'going out'.

Down the pub I expect. No entry fee, no inflated prices, just a bit more busy than normal with people that are more drunk that normal
