Listen Corsa 120 i've already told you you thick fookin sh!te the first number is the Gross overall weight (fully laden as it says in owners manual) its not anything else and it doesnt give a description next to it. And as i said there is nothing to say wot second number is. O.K.

the 1.6 is 40 kg heavier than the 1.4 coz of the extra 200cc capacity!! bigger engine block, pistons, crank, cams, and so on, also they might have a bigger gearbox or at least a bigger clutch!!!

corsa 14 16 cams are identical plus i think the 2.0l only weighs 40 kg more than 1.6 so i doubt the difference between 14 and 16 is much at all but i could be wrong.

1.4's and 1.6's use the same block, same gearbox, same clutch etc. If the pistons are bigger then extra weight, but it wont be heavier than the metal removed from the block to fit them!

yup the mag's talk crap, ive got a corsa and a calibra, and haynes books for both - now if your right and the corsa weighs 1400kg its heavier than the calibra 
my corsa weighs approx 900kg and the cally weighs about 1200kg
trust me ive pushed both cars up the drive at one stage and there is no way the calibra is lighter!
