Wind deflectors deffo! I also want some SA rear lights if anyone's selling. To be fair Nic, it doesn't look as low on the pics but I couldn't possibly go lower. Downpipe is only 1" from the floor. Plus I like it as is

No its not on a chipset. New/cleaned injectors, new fuel pump then RR and set everything up. Its overboosting already

Really? I also thought that chips were just preset maps for the ECU for air, fuel, boost etc. but at Hi Tech, they put it on the rollers and maually set up the parameters without the need of a chip?

I was thinking of going down Regal but to be fair, Ive used Mick at Hi Tech 3 times now and everytime my car has come back running 100% and at times with more power.

like i say to anyone whos thinking of or gone to mick, he just hasnt got the equipment to tune turbo cars or newer cars, all his stuff is ancient, he is the tits with carbs etc and old skool stuff, everyone round near me that has taken there stuff to him (ie rs turbos/cosworth etc) he just cant do much, messes with the obvious things gets it running a little better but thats it. Honestly i aint shitting you, part with a little more cash go to a decent tuner and il put my money on it you will be 10x more pleased with your car..
please listen

they cant really do a great deal. you can only make it boost as far until the std boost cut comes in so will overboost 14psi hold about 10-12psi. there isnt anything they can do apart from turn the actuator up, and turn a fpr up. the chips although preset have different timing and fuel maps in allowing you to run higher boost. tbh, get chips then get it set up. normally dont see much over 230bhp without chips due to factory boost parameters.

as nic has said, mick done the same with my mk4 escort turbo, just kept turning up the boost and blasting it on the rollers untill it was overboosting and ecu cutting it off, then turned it down to suite, by that time it was to late and fried the ecu..
he checked and cleaned my plugs, that was about it..
he ended up frying my ecu like i said and blowing my turbo, if i would have listenend to friends of mine i would of got myself up to MSD and paid £250 for them to make a chip to suite my car, my mate has been to a few places (inc jamsport) just been up to MSD and is amazed that they managed to get it running even better, just soo smooth now its unreal..
at other tuning places (not so good ones) they just try to get the most out of your engine, not saying its going to run better, but at msd my mates ecos made 10/15bhp less but was faster/smoother then before..

ive no idea what this place hi tek can do. im just going off what you can and cant do with the std ecu set up on a c20let.
tbh aftermarket management is worlds apart from generic chipped std stuff.
