Was a big gambling coup that got giggs the SPOTY

He was 50/1 in october, and was still 16/1 when he got on the shortlist

These markets are a farce and are very easily influenced, loads of people have a chunk on at 50/1 then vote like fuck

Isn't a SPOTY for me but the guy is a legend

only 150,000 votes for the winner..... over 6,000,000 for the winner for X-factor.

With so little number of votes just too easy to rig, specially when it was 100/1 at one point

Team of the year award was bollocks, yes they won the ashes but only because Australia didn't turn up; the rest of the year they've had some appauling results.

It shoudl have been between Brawn GP, Ireland Rugby Team and the Ladies Cricket team.

Also, Fabio Cappello for Coach of the year?!?! He hasn't proved himself yet, he shouldn't have even been on the list; where was David Hayes' coach? Where was the Irish Rugby Coach? Where was the ladies cricket team coach?

exactly the same reason during Dougie Lampkins reign, he got maybe a 10 second mention on one SPOTY and that was all the recognition he ever received
