with all due respect, a car that is used daily will get stone chips? i personally just cannot see the logic in a bonnet bra on a 13 year od corsa, all IMO of course

What about the bumper though, that will get more stone chips, why not protect that?

but a car thats outside most of its life and subject to weathering, salt and generally poor road conditions WILL only get chips and nicks over time. Why only protect the bonnet? why not just buy the car and leave it in a garage and never drive it?

You can buy a clear film, but that isnt my point, I just don't understand why people buy something to protect the bonnet only when the rest of the car is open to damage anyway.

well the clear film isnt removable, when you remove it, you have to have that section painted again! yeah but like Adam said the bonnet is the most affected area.

Yeah, the front of my bonnet has no where near as many stone chips as my bumper, but them I'm not really arsed as it's a 14 year old car Each to their own though I suppose, I just don't 'get it'

well i know for a fact, my cars only nearly 4 years old and the bumper is far worse for stone chips then the bonnet. It happens unfortunately, i just could not justify covering up bits of my car permanantly?

When exactly is the protection for? If you put the bra on to stop sone chips (as you lot are claiming) on the part you want protecting, when exactly do you take it off to reveal the well maintained paintwork you worked so hard to maintain?!

(*not applicable to the guy who bought one and used it how the others are claiming but really they have it on 99% of the time)

I'm getting one because I like the look of it, not to protect my bonnet.

Theres going to be defects around the rest of the car anyway.
