thats what im worried about..

more money for:

servicing it
tyres (bigger wheels)
running costs
insurance
tax

alot more costs then the others, but its a nice car that i can afford to buy, but no point in buying it and cant afford to run it

Find a good 1 though and you shouldnt need to worry about most of that stuff.

Buy 1 thats got good tyres,6mth tax and had a recent service.

i would say bora aswell TBH no as said exactly same as a golf but with a boot so basically a golf saloon but with a different name,

yea, when i changed my car i didnt really take a huge amount of notice in the eveyrday running cost changes.... that said, a good beemer will be a great buy and wont break down. £3k you might be lucky to find a good one tho

starlet? i bought one recently (gt turbo) and the smile still aint worn off, cheap to fix and modify too
