Not sure, but it looks rather clean and straight from the pictures.

The Mex sounds perfect. It would be an ideal home for that LSD and a nice new pair of DCOEs as you mentioned.

I am terribly envious. I am lumbered with a crap 'Escort' you see.

One day I shall have another MK II. Preferably an RS 2000.

Jim your Escort, was pretty legendary in its day. Do you still own it?

As for your idea of the price of shell mate, it depends! Can very from £100 to £1000, has it got a cage etc!

It's a bit better than your average Escort, though.

A gay one

(S2 RS Turbo)

Good to hear you're keeping on top of the Mex. That's the only way to keep em spot on.

Yeah, she's still sulking in the garage mate. The battery's on charge at the mo.

She should be back on the road next year.

No ammount of fast and black, can make up for being wrong wheel drive though.

There's plenty wrong with mine.

In the main...

A) She eats a gearbox every 3k miles.

B) She makes 301 lb ft but can't use any of them to make her go sideways.

Oh and she generates slightly less ambient heat than a faulty Russian power station.

Not a chance my son. Looked terrible with all that orange tat on it. the back looked even worse in conjunction with a manky no plate.

Besides, that little lot cost me an arm and a leg.

Just need black no plates of questionable legality now to complete the ensemble.

Thank you Tom.

Presently not that shiny though. All dusty and sulky in the garage instead.
