Yep.. 260bhp, 415nm.. Same engine as a 2000-04 Mustang..
Its still a 6 second 0-60 out of the box car and going side ways comes as standard.
With a supercharger its a 400bhp ANIMAL!
You've got to remember V8's are about TORQUE.. torque shifts weight..

How much did you give for it Dave? They drive beautifully don't they.
I'm still paying for mine.
They are impossible to drive like a reasonable human being. Got banned in mine.
It eats tires and drinks petrol too.
You should check with your local MGR/X Part dealer for prices on the proper stainless X-Power silencers. Some dealers do them at fairly bargain rates.
Cheaper than ebay and sometimes cheaper than the aftermarket ones.
Oh and you'll need six grand for the blower conversion but you probably already knew that.
Genuine rear brakes really are an astonishingly horrible price btw.

I paid £6k.. It makes me drive like a dick head!
The super chargers cost sod all from the states and I've already got a copy of the MAP
The rear discs are cheap, I'd imagine the AP calipers are expensive though
My mate has got the rear end from a ZT so I might pilfer some bits.

I'd be interested to see if someone could do a cheaper conversion.
The car utilizes Rover and Ford ECUs so Dreadnought had to come up with a way of getting everything to communicate correctly. There is an extra loom they install and it's about a week's work from them for it to be a turn key conversion.
They are dear but they are good and they need to recoup their investment.
I know cheaper brakes are available but the genuine stuff is horribly dear.

There's not many about. Only 893 were built.
That includes all variants of the V8 RWD platform, including saloons and estates in pre & post facelift guise in Rover or MG badging, plus all the test cars and pre-production and development vehicles.
It isn't a 5 Series chassis/floorpan, but the fuel tank is BMW sourced I believe.
None of the suspension is interchangeable between the RWD and gay variants either.

My logic exactly.. What else can you get thats 5 years old with a V8, that handles for that much less than £10k?
I could get a hanging Monaro for £10k which would be a little bit quicker but what the point when I can have an Immaculate ZT for almost half!
