Come April when i'm in my new place i'll start saving again. Since i was made redundant this time last year, i've saved nothing and blown it on going out most weekends.

I'm hoping i have enough left saved to buy everything i want for the new place and can then just save what's left at the end of each month.

Not paying for fuel has taken a massive strain off my income and spending £100 every weekend is now out the question.

I will always save. But atm I'm essentially saving for a car.

Although that £20k house deposit isn't going to save itself

I save £500 a month by Direct Debit into a Savings Account and always have money left over so just keep that in the bank as a safety boundary, personal overdraft kind of thing, without the fees.

Ben and Graham still live with parents IIRC so they have nothing to pay for except their cars / WAGs

Been saving a lot recently, minimum of £400 a month and in december I managed 2k with xmas wages. Soon adds up, not saving for anything in particular, I just like to have money in case I need it.

Strike action coming soon though

But yeah I do live at home which is why I aim to save a bit now and hopefully not need to dive into it. I had to buy my work van out of savings recently so it's suffered a bit. I could use my savings and get a smaller loan for my new car but I'd rather know I have money there for a rainy day.

Not a penny. But that'll change when I'm earning a bit more money and have less outgoings.

Saving for a house so putting as much away as possible at the moment, but keep seeing toys I want like M3's and Z4's so its hard at the moment.

If I want something I will save up for it tho.
