Well, put an offer in the morning of £98k Needless to say it got rejected within about 5mins.
Said I could go to £105k but that was my max. Bird rang me back and said it was close to what they want, but could I go any higher. Told them £105k was my absolute maximum and she said leave it with her. She rang me back about an hour later saying it had been accepted
Just need to sort a mortgage out now, and if I can get what I need then looks like it will soon be mine

Cheers mate.
Will take a while to get it how I want it as funds will be tight but in time I reckon I can get it looking pretty swanky
Already been on various websites looking for stuff though

Just a quick update on this for anyone that cares...
Mortgage is now sorted out. Going to go in with my old dear as there was no way I could afford it on my own so she is going to own 25% and me the other 75%. Means I can move out now rather than staying at home for another year or so.
Just going to have another a look at it, check things over like the boiler etc and then finalise the deal. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong

Aye. Means I can move out and my mum should make a bit of cash when I come to sell.
Plus the money I had saved for a deposit can be used for buying important things like a 50" TV

Possibly if it all goes through.
Got a meeting with the bank on Thursday to finalise the mortgage and then just need surveying and all that shit.

Looks very nice as a batchelor pad, if I was single its the sort of thing I would have, open plan is brilliant and really makes the space you get seem bigger. Ceilings look properly high as well, gonna be some serious echo in there with the hard floor
But yea some serious potential for a properly modern / contemporary place. CORSA NUT's kitchen would look ace in that space

Yeah I saw that earlier and thought the same. Would be looking to do something similar when I got it re-done.
Will be putting carper down in the living area and removing some of the lamitnate in the kitchen area so hopefully shouldn't be too bad with regards to echo's.
If/when it all gets sorted i'll get some better pictures as the ones on the right move aint the best. Wil probs start a new thread for when I decorate an all. Not getting too ahead of myself though as it isn't 100% it all go through yet, although I cant see any problems.

House sailed through the Survey Cost me a bit more as I paid for a more detailed one but its put my mind at rest. Found out the building was built in the late 1800's so was worried that the beams etc might be falling from together, but apparently they are as sturdy as they were when it was built
All in the hands of the solicitors now

Got the keys for an hour or so to check a few things out that came back on the Survey so thought i'd take some better pics while I was there.
Full building
Parking spaces/my shed
Back of house
Front
Upstairs bedroom
Staircase
Downstairs bedroom
Kitchen
Living Room
Bathroom
Entrance Hall
Will be putting in a new modern looking kitchen before I move in properly as the one in there now wont really look right once I get all my shit in there. Going to get rid of that fire place as its only an electric job and have the TV mounted on't wall I reckon. Downstairs bedroom is going to be used as a dressing room with a sofa bed in for when folk stop over. Cant really get wardrobes upstairs and with the bathroom being downstairs it'll save running up down all the time when showering etc.
Changed the title of the thread an all so will post some progress pictures up once I get in and decorating if anyone wants to see um.
