Had a wee blast up at crail today

Also got two cold air intake feed things for my morettes from a boy with a white gsi valver

Got my inlet fitted on thursday night,what a difference! pulls so much better up the range and is defo much quicker!

Well after the X16XE gave up the ghost with misfiring and smoking finally decided to go down the redtop route with it,forgot the camera tonight but sean8v has some pics on his phone,got the engine out tonight just need to pick my XE up on saturday and jobs a good 'un

Big update as got lots of pics off the camera

First off...the heart of it all,later coilpack engine from K plate calibra,92k on it,bone dry!

What an experience this is turning out to be!

Engine bay is getting prep'd and painted tommorow and hopefully engine will be mounted in on monday all going to plan...

you may find the crank shaft censor to be the wrong one!

Got a bit more done today...

Prep'd and primed engine bay



Some arden blue





Stripped the engine down a bit more,had a look through the exhaust port things and saw a leaky stem seal so just ordered full head set and bolts so this will be getting done asap,the joys!



Also just ordered a twag conversion loom as heard good things about them and saves any loom chopping

Big thanks to the apprentice (sean8v) top lad...even when i nearly dropped a c20xe on him!
