I've got a TAG Heur SEL. Lovely watch and much dearer than that when new, but you could probably get something similar in stainless steel only, 2nd hand but mint and with a guarantee from a reputable dealer for similar money to the top of your budget (maybe a little more) Simon.
It would be a better choice financially because it would retain what you paid for it more or less and not depreciate like a falling stone the way a designer/fashion watch would.

Im really like square facial watches at the moment, threads pretty irrelevant to me as thats around the price range im looking at maybe up to £250

Nice Kev. Rather liking some Raymond Weil stuff too and love Omega.

Patek Philippe make some lovely stuff in spite of the gaudy shit. Horrible money though.
