the thing with Scotland is that there are really only 3 main active areas,
Edinburgh Glasgow area
Aberdeen (North East Area)
Possibly Inverness.
And by the way i resent that comment about ginger and non ginger areas

I try and organise things in central locations. RR days, Karting, Trackday (all be it under a different name, but always invite CS)
Never really get any interested once the mention of giving money before hand is added
I dont mind travelling but I prefer things east coast as its much easier for us.

you can see the divide on the map - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/regionstats?fid=33
NE is its own area, and 'central' inc Glasgod, Edinburgh and Kircaldy.
NE have to travel 2hrs to Edinburgh, more to Glasgow. If folk from Glasgow cant drive 40mins to Edinburgh they are just lazy.
I dont think a split would be benificial though.

Central scotland & Northern Scotland region isnt too bad an idea, as theres lots of members from both areas & to travel in either direction for something is 2 hrs minimum & not a lot of folk are prepared to do that.

Then folk from Ayrshire have an extra 40/50 minutes on top.
I'm only workin P/T cant afford to use masses of petrol.

south/south west
central belt
north
i think would be a good idea for regions.
Would be more likely to get some regular meetrs even if only just for some pics chat, thus meaning people getting to no each other more which in turn may help when it comes to organising the larger events like karting, paint balling, bowling or whatever.
IMO
