Id be careful putting Rooney as captain, as he is playing so well at the moment you may not want to risk adding extra pressure on his head.

You;ve got to look at who is going to play 100% of the time too - Beckham wont, not really a keeper who will, Barry may not, Rio may not given his injuries.

I would guess its between Fatty, Rio and Gerrard.
