A few dents doesnt mean that its going to be a right off. Get it took to a garage and let them have a look. Might just need a rejig. Might only be slight damage (new slam panel, rad, lights etC). all can be obtained cheaply from a scrap yard

Really sorry to here this mate, it is one of the most annoying things in the world, crashing ur car, but unfortunately we nearly all do it at some point.
Just look on the bright side mate, things have a funny way of all goin wrong at once then all of a sudden your luck well change and you well be happy as a pig in shit!!
was it an old shitter van? eg old tranny prob wouldnt damge the fecker, and then wouldnt have to claim??

Yeah like dogs said, all may not be lost. I take it your insure 3rd party. If its fixable though, it might be a good time to change to mk2 spec, although mk1 stuff is usually cheap form scrappys, plus being a comon colour means you may be able to get away without having to get stuff sprayed

and looked to see if ya can see if teh chassis is crumpled at all
when i hit the back on a AX GT in a nova, only needed bonnet, bumper, radiator, and the cross member thing, was all sorted after that
