What boost does it run standard and on a stage one map? Being a 1.6 with over 200bhp I would imagine its quite high.

Standard ones are failing on piston 4 aswell warren, (when run from cold) Its down to it being the last to receive coolant and being hit with cold oil (rather than a mist) so it get hot very quickly but doesnt receive coolant quick enough to keep the temp stable then gets slapped with cold oil 
Most turbo cars have a different style of piston dont they? not just standard solid pistons

Also doubt ill fit in an astra, the corsas have more headroom for people 6'4" and above

I'm glad I got the Astra, as the more I see the Corsa's the less I like them.

I was thinking about this recently, for me insurance between the two(Astra/Corsa) is the same, MPG is about the same(if not a little better in the Astra), Tyres are the same(providing the Astra has the 18's), Tax is the same so running costs are pretty even. Although i prefer the Corsa seats i think id have the Astra, they are also cheaper to buy.

I have an Corsa Arctic and I'm happy with it
Yes petrol econo,y is crap Ive never seen it above 30mpg
Only ever been in a MK5 Sxi and I feel the corsa is roomier inside
