Ultimate Dubs on the 14th March. What ideas will I come back with! Got a few just need to find some cheap enough parts to make it happen.

Like this mate, looks good.

Good going on the correction work too - would advise a follow up / refinement with a polishing or finishing pad and a lesser polish - such as Megs 80

Key fob badges were all scuffed and worn so got some OEM replacements and fitted those tonight:

Been aquiring a few bits and piece's for the Golf

An R Line / R32 Front bumper:


New set of grills to go with it:


A Smooth boot plynth, fills the recess between boot and bumper:


Put it against the car to see what its like today:




Now just need to get my hands on an R Line Rear bumper, but not many about and don't come cheap:




The money I made from selling the TT is burning a hole in my pocket quite quickly

great cars arnt they but modding them is even more expensive then a vaux specially the rline stuff!

Never really been keen on the R line rear bumper, the only car I've seen it and thought it worked is Stanton's slowmotion.

The rear has worked best on two of the best modified Golfs I know of:

Gregg Howell's
Darren's (G-Werks)

I'm not a fan of Stanton's at all really.

I think they only work with an exhaust cutout, not a hidden one.

Afraid I'm the opposite Robin, hidden or nothing.

No way I'm sticking an exhaust out the back of my soot chucker either!

I've decided the same with my Ibiza, keeping it hidden means the boot stays cleaner for longer

Nothing exiting really just thought I'd make a post, not bothered getting my bumpers painted yet (I'm slacking) Will get them done ASAP, before I have to stop to pay for the house

Tried out some new engine bay cleaner, seems to have came up a treat very impressed:


Got a spare boot badge and painted it black:


Bought a VW Sharan stubby aerial, just to get rid of the R/C like one on as standard:




I have never used a rear wiper as the mark it leaves on the window annoys me more than not being able to see out of it (which doesn't happen very often as its always clean) so I took the wiper off and fitted a glass blank:




The rear end sits quite a bit higher than the front for some reason, so going to try and level it out a bit better so purchased these:


Also got a de-badged grill for when the R Line front bumper goes on, so will drop everything off for painting soon:
