Aye i'll probably end up doing that, done the plugs today old ones were past it running a lot better now and picked up the fuel pump from Coughtries bit the night while Pagey had a hefty wank over his RS

Yeah i gave it a good poking around with a screwdriver.
Most of its just where i peeled off flaking underseal and bubbling paint.
Slam panel had been brush painted black so i started chipping most of that off as well.
The only bits that i poked thru are where the arch liner nuts screw on, where you can see the yellow sound deadening.

Aye no point doing this much to punt it on, luckily a friend is a shit hot welder/fabricator so he'll be doing a tidy job on the arches and other bits i want tidyed up

dont look the worst mines was the same so stripped the inner arches right down and rust proofed and painted them and looked amzing, if the fronts are rusty have you checked the rear inners?

No i was breaking an N reg one for spares, which is the one that was on the back of the towtruck.
Davie, not poked about the rears yet, doing the front end, then underneath, then the rear.

There wont be any rust when i'm finished.
Yesterday i drained all the fluids, removed the ARB/Tie Bar/ radiator and hubs, started unplugging the wiring loom.
Today i'll probably finish removing the loom then drop the gearbox out, i dare say the engine wont be far behind it to be honest, just taking my time, insurance is up next week anyway.
