i agree with Daimo, once you start lowering to the point where your wishbones are inverted, it can ruin the ride quality and imo is stupid

yes you have a low centre of gravity, but thats only good on a dead flat surface

That is probably the main reason i raised my car 12 turns on my coilovers

i agree with vxr. Low equals slow. Why make a good car like an impreza into a piece of shit. Suppose some people prefer to park on long grass than drive their cars. Im really glad im not a scene puppet.

Ditto, mine wasnt that bad at all when it was wound down, but the ride was pritty bad rideing round on the bumpstops, which made it abit embarrassing when i had others in the car.

See that I can agree with which is why I'm done with having a proper low car, my Mazda sits nice on the Aero suspension and doesn't rub on full lock or with more than 3 people in the car. I never minded it on my Fiesta when I was buy myself but when you take a girl in the car whos got no interest in cars it's highly embarassing.

Unless she has massive tits.

Yep thats about right and try explaining that you've got it lowered to the point your tyres are getting scrubbed on the arches

Simple lowering spring drops are the way forwards now, like the Thorney handling setup, springs, ARB's, sorted

Cheers matey, I gotta get more pics up but nothing has changed since I first put pics up so feel its a bit pointless

had the corrado lowered and found it too low, tried different suspension and still too low.

thats why i ended up with coilovers as i could raise the car up with raise, almost as high as they go

depends about pre load on springs etc. hence it makes it bouncy which makes it handle a lot worse. if (and 99% of people that slam their car wont have) you have the correct springs to suit the application, it will be ok being lowered. but still, it needs to be done properly. slammed to fuck on coilovers is for looks only in most cases. infact people buy coilovers for looks. nothing else.

I bought coilovers for both, but I found it handled extremely well and anybody who went in the car or saw it at the Performance Ford Trackday will confirm that Im sure, I must have got lucky
