I was speaking to a guy the other week who makes our pallets/reels etc for work. One of his employees was trying to make a pallet with a nailgun whilst having some snap...

Ended up nailing a mars bar to his finger & a pallet

tbh, if you use tools correctly theyre not dangerous at all. i must admit though i have come close when using cheap shit compressors when trying to work fast

friend cut the tip of his finger off on his brake discs. they were able to pin it back on. there's a video on youtube of them removing the pin.

I've never trusted spring compressors, always cringe when I'm using em. I've never had anything go wrong on me but a lad I used to work with had them spin to one side leaving the spring with a massive bend. That was proper dodgy slackening em off again, every time he turned the compressors they were trying to let go completely
