IIRC the Ford EDIS is a tried and tested conversion on the XE/LET so that would take care off the dizzy side of things possibly.

how does the hall sensor work the std ecu if it doesnt have one?

TBH i dont know.Im just going by what ive read over on MIG over the years.
Possibly need aftermarket management.Megasquirt etc.

oh right. then any coil pack would work tbh. i thought you knew of a way using a coil pack with the std ecu. never mind.

no me either. other wya ive seen is a belt driven dizzy mounted elswhere. although again im unsure of std ecu or not. seems daft to run a set up like that on aftermarket though. i dunno.

i was thinking of doing this with my c20let but the omegas are so heavey though , it would be nice though

either way its going to be quicker than a v6 though plus it would make a nice change see an omega with turbo power other then the usual cars astra's corsa's etc

wont be a lot quicker than a v6 if its a 3.0 as they similar power and torque as a std c20let.

True but a few £££ spent on tuning a c20/z20let would blow the v6 into the weeds

easily as tuning the v6 isnt anywhere near the same as throwing some 40 quid copied ebay chips into a c20let ecu for 300bhp

later xe's were yes. no c20let's were, even though they were in production cars of the same age. mostly bizarre. some c20let's also had ecotec plug covers.
