good buy it seems if its magnatec.
i've walked past the 'Value/Smartprice' 15w/40 in supermarkets and giggled, wondering which one of my cars that it was used in
Have to be bloody stupid to put that stuff in anything with any moving parts.
I always used the GM oil in the corsa and cav, was great. It's basicly Shell's helix oil, so is goreat stuff, and £40 for 20 litres wit trade club

well this is 44 pound for 16 litres of usually expensive oil, without a trade card from a supermarket, which imo is fairly competitive to us lower mortals that dont have trade cards

Magnatec? I'd rather using cooking oil atleast it would hold its viscocity longer!
Just do a 50/50 mix of washing up liquid and some 10w40 semi and you've got magnatec

halfords oil is 25 quid for 5 litres, i know because i recently bought some to do a change.
you could get 5litres of this castrol stuff for around 18 quid using the deal at tescos
[Edited on 07-04-2010 by Steve]
is that halfords price including trade card discount? i swear i paid a fair bit less than that when i got some for vectra on a sunday at 3pm
Trade card gives you something good like 30 or 50% off on oil

I don't mean to be rude mate but I think that oil has just had the stickers swapped over from their own brand stuff.
You are currently running chip fat as oil.
