Rooney will win both awards. But I am just saying Didier has had a very good season. It isn't always the goals and the assists, but he does great defending in our box as well, for example. And it may well be him who is one of the main reasons we can win the title and the FA Cup. (we are obviously in a great position for both)

Also, Rooney has won young player of the year award twice before and James Milner is 24 years old as well, who is also in a 'chance' for the award

Drogba is good. Not going to argue with that.

Could be argued that both Rooney and Drogba are around the same level, they both put in a shift for their respected teams, Drogba is a great defender and Rooney tracks back all the time and obviously they create and score goals for their teams.

I think Milner is at his peak and I don't think he could make it into any of the top 3 teams.

The 23 would probably be how old they were at the start of the season, i'm assuming Rooney and Milner were 23 at the start of the season?

Not a fan of milner, but he's definitely come on a lot this year.

Like the Euro U-21's, it was how old they were at the start of qualifying so half of englands team were 23, and we still didn't win it...

Passion for the game, when you have been robbed from playing CL final possibly the last chance in your career and some biased cunt decides that he won't give 3 clear cut penalties then you are likely to be angry and if that was someone like Keano he probably would have killed the ref.

i dont think rooney will win both either, andy gray was the last player to do it IIRC and when he did the premier league asked him if he would give one up.

Id like to see Hart get young player, but with the media hype around villa, oneill, milner, capellos plane etc i can see milner getting it
