Mike Ashley gets my vote TBH.
You will struggle to find a buyer, far to much debt and the need for investment in a new stadium means you need someone willing to invest £1b before they see any return.

It depends how much they are asking - if they want debt + £100m then that's only an asking price of roughly £330m, which isn't actually that bad. Even if you say the stadium will cost £400m, it gives us a price of £750m. That's still a hell of a lot less than united would cost even though it would give us a comparative turnover (and probably higher profit due to our lower wages).

We're they not asking in the 500m region? Stadiums never go to budget always over.

Been realistic though your wages have got to go higher now than ever as if they dont without the prospect of champions league football you will never get players to come. Why would they want the europa league when for the same wage they can have champions league at any of the top 3 and one of either City or Arsenal?

Well all our top players are signed to new contracts so those arent going to go up for years, and we do have a fairly strict wage structure so although we may have to pay slightly more it certainly won't rival the ridiculous wages united pay to their fringe players (aka o'shea and dog eater).

And the likes of Gerrard, Torres and Masc are not going to have there heads turned by offers of the same money + champions league football are they...

You and i both know a contract in football means fuckall other than a larger transfer fee .
Face it, its a club that has just began the decline to mid table, much the same sort of position as Everton tbh. Infact it should aspire to mould itself to the Everton business model. Would probably need a better more financially savvy manager though. You would never catch moyes spunking £20m+ on a injury prone midfielder.
