fuck that, get on the look for a later car thats ot a blown engine or something. would probably cost less than paying to get all that sorted. and even if you can do it yourself, i wouldnt feel comfortable in a car thats had that much repair work

Think i'm just going to take the remainin parts off and scrap it, all i really have to take off is the doors and the dash thats how much i had stripped it

Well then they arent a re-shell then.

They are just another car with the previous cars parts on it.

Personally I would get rid, take everything off like the kit etc and keep the interior, then get one with a bust engine and swap it all out.

Basically what most other people have said but meh

Well the interior is in my room, so is the kit, and the engine is in the garage.

I had it stripped to tidy it up, the engine was burning a great deal of oil, so i removed it and was going to tidy up the shell.

Think i'll strip iff whats left and weigh it in.

would do this if you can do the work yourself, i know its not in the same league but if you had seen the state my brothering laws mk1 escort is in most of you would ask why he is bothering as there is no floor etc in the car, its all rotted away just depends what the car means to you, if your not fussed just find another shell

Maybe it just took the previous owner a few weeks to fix it and get it thro an MOT.That would account for it having an MOT till November.

You would wonder how it got through a second time with those failures and the condition of it being what it is.

Just to add the car looked fine, it wasnt until i poked around i opened up all these parts, i only went poking as i stripped a gsi a few weeks back and it was proper fucked underneath the carpet so knew roughly where it went.

Worst of it is the car appears to have been cared for, every MOT since new etc, then its obviously fallen into the wrong un loving hands
