I'm not a big Corsa B fan, but I do like GSi's.

I notice that the fault is claimed to be EGR related

Oh noes

I want it now, trouble is I'd want to spend money on it, coilovers, Speedlines, inlet yadda yadda

Wasn't sure about that but I've got another complete set of sensors to swap out if necessary.

What would you go to? Ideally it wants a poke about underneath or at least a look at the previous MOTs for corrosion advisories.

Depends how much interest hes had in it, obviously not a lot if hes reduced the price, I'd give him £750 for it depending on if it's solid and how it drove.

After the last GSi and what Lee had to go through to get that running right I'm a bit dubious about them.

my gsi never run right kept misfiring through the rev range, tried new leads and fuel filter that never helped, theres a weird problem like this with the early engines

Lot of the C16XE got recalled due to piston related issues.

I had to have a X16XE bottom end on a C16XE head with X16XE managment on mine to get it to run right.

120bhp with inlet afterwards though.

Looks decent enough, and not a bad price considering its all original and seems in good nick.

Mileage is fairly reasonable for a 17 year old car tbh - my X16XE Sport is on 152k at the moment
