Springs are made of an alloy of toffee & recovered chewing gum from the pavements. I had a set go then another after 1500 miles!! I'll be getting eibachs next time round!!

Its gonna have to be manual as well as the SMG paddle thingy aint really my thing.
Ideally i'd like to swap my Evo for one as it would be a hell of a lot easier.
Really need a go in one first. Infact i'l need to go get an insurance quote as well. I'll try just now.
I had a list of colours I wanted but in the end bought mainly on condition & the deal I was getting!! Quite a few rough uncared for example out there so be weary!!
SMG's good but not for everyone, I had mixed feelings whithout having a go but 20min drive sold it to me I think its excellent. It can feel a bit ropey at times but I think all in all its fucking cock on!!
Like I said welcome to have a look round mine sometime champ

That is really not a good picture of Imola Red. One of my fav colours and same as my Corsa was painted they really do look stunning IMO but thats a very poor pic.

Well the insurance is a bit dearer than the Evo which is a bit of a shock lol. Minimum of £750 excess as well, not so good.

White is the absolute sex, they go for stupid money tho.
Ibis or alpine white with smoked CSL wheels and CSL boot would be pure porn

Thats to much of a ballache tbh, plus the cost of a good paint job is around £3k+ as i'd want it done properly - engine bay, all door checks, boot area etc.
To make it affordable i'd need to find one with huge mileage and it'll be pretty ropey for one under £8k.
I would have a Max of £12k for one which I noticed is the going rate for decent standard fully serviced ones.

I'll give my insurance co a phone just to see what they can do. Dont want to be paying more than the evo tbh.
So the mian thing is the snapped springs, that'll be the first thing I would change then. Are the brakes as bad as people say???

I'd want them to be very good, its a heavy car to slow down lol. My last car and previous one has amazing brakes so i'd like them to be the same.
