Why do you keep changing cars?
Why didn't you just stick with that Clio you had?

Youre touchy today Ollie. I dont really KEEP changing cars, although I do get bored quite quickly, and quite enjoy getting a new car and experiencing them. The clio was great, it just take too kindly to the abuse it got, and started to rattle a lot, not to mention having an oddly coloured door.

Sorry did I come across like a twat? You and your brother are forever swapping cars but you always had the ideal cars.
I thought your brothers 306GTi was perfect, then he sold it, your 172 was perfect then you sold it
I can't keep up.

Trouble is for the money you won't beat a Clio, performance per £ they are unbeatable, CTR runs it close but are slightly more expensive to buy and are a bit harder to keep lively.

The clio was fantastic, and I think youre right in that it was ideal. Im too much a perfectionist and couldnt live with it after I had to change the door, it rattled lots and it was the wrong shade of blue. It would have cost loads to spray it and it never would have been perfect. I came to the conclusion when we got the mazda that I didnt need such an expensive daily if I wasnt using it on track, but now my brother wants to sell his half the mazda.

E36 M3, maintenance isn't as bad as people say. Or if money really is an issue an E36 328 sport, stripped, caged, coilovers, big-bore throttle body and 325 inlet manifold (good for 215bhp) and some decent pads/discs and you'll be laughing!
Even a relatively standard E36 will run rings round many of the newer hot hatches in the right hands

Are you buying you bro out of the Mazda as well? In which case you don't need two track cars?

Its an option, then I will have the full expense of two cars, hence considered just the one car for myself. If I do buy him out il keep the Golf though and take the Mazda racing.
