the cars probably worth about 1500, they still fetch a largish amount for an old car, ones in decent condition are quite sought after

What is the fucking point in getting it painted?
First of all it's not worth it, it's not a rare classic and secondly you can hardly notice it and thirdly you are only even thinking about getting it done because you have money avaliable on your credit cards.
I'm going to smash your fcuking face in if this behaviour continues, no wonder Charz wanted rid of you.

want to get it done sooner rather then later before it gets worse then you have to have metal cut out and welded in to repair and thats £££
at the moment the panel is still solid behind it but it will eventually go right through, probably just needs a sand down as it stands right now

fix it up yourself a bit Steve, my car has the same, but it takes a long time for the rust to become unfixable. If you plan to keep car for a long time (i reckon they will become sought after) then its almost worth waiting until you have more rust and getting it fixed all in one bill, rather than a few hundred here and there every 6months or so
your car looks spotless in all the photos

It doesn't need doing yet you idiot, have you seen the state of some Corsas on the road?
You won't have it long enough for the rust to get terminal, you are looking at another 10 years before it becomes an MOT failure.
Such a weirdo, leave it alone.

it is really its just a slight bubble next to the rear arch lip, which is fuck all compared to a lot of pumas, seems to be a fault with the seam, must trap water or something id say 90% of pumas have it most are a lot worse though with it going right through
so far iv hammerited behind the arch carpet and applied copper grease across the seam, hopefully should prevent any moisture getting in there
