yeah overtaking is a bit scarce but the straights aren't really long enough for that.
alonso at the back was good, with de grassi all over the shop trying to keep him behind.

Er some cars actually racing each other and overtaking. A safety car is not a sign of a good race. First one was due to just poor driving, last one due to silly rash driving by the 2nd leage teams.
I wonder how many cars were overtaken in the last 75 laps not including changes in position due to pitting.

what do you expect when the cars all run near enough the same power and difference are very small between them.
it's like 2 corsa xe's racing one another, both standard. only driver skill really makes a difference.

Wasn't a bad race - mostly because Alonso had an excellent comeback at the start of the race. A few crashes provide a bit of interest but otherwise the usual monaco parade.
Nice to have some historic links in the season, but it does seem a bit odd to keep monaco in the calendar tbh.

Apparently Schumacher has just been handed a 20 second penalty for his last lap overtaking dropping him to 12th place = no points.
