TBH I don't know why I'm even bothering to defend England. The whole country is already against them anyway

Qualifiers? Or maybe I'm not basing it on anything. But over the two games we have not seen the lineup/strongest team Capello will put out. When it comes to crunch the boys will be up for it, massive.

I was going to say we had the best goal difference, most goals scored, and second highest points total Not much else we couldve done better.

[cheap shot] Still further than you boys. [/cheap shot]

We'll go out in the Semi's after believing we might just win it, and I'm gonna love every second of it!

I reckon Semi's an all, although I cant see any reason why we cant get to the Final.

We just need our big players to perform in the later stages, as its usually these that let us down when it comes to the crunch.

Also went with Semis.

And with regards to USA beating us, they've got Jonathon Spector in defence, we shouldn't have a problem

I get totally drawn in with all the hype though! The Carlsberg advert, all the Kitkat adverts, the Nike advert, I actually love it

So what that we might not win Its all about the magic of the World Cup!! (and going on Penalties )

In Vanessa Perroncel no doubt? Pass the slag around and let the rest of the squad have a go!

I can see Madheed doing a mazy run before back heeling the ball into the top corner to see Algeria beat you and go out in the group stage

If you win it I'm going to remove myself from the country for atleast 20 years

Quarters, nailed on and I agree that germany will face spain in the final. The only good thing about us not playing so well in the friendly's and having to negotiate one of the easier groups is the fact it's better to build form throughout the tournament but yeah still not getting past the quarters as we don't have the mental strenght as much as anything.

"Ex-United States defender Alexi Lalas is urging his team to wind up England striker Wayne Rooney in their World Cup group match - and wants to "see him act like a baby". Lalas said of the Group C qualifier on 12 June: "I hope Rooney has a temper tantrum, has a swing at someone and gets thrown out."

Hasn't happened before
