Mine are left in the car. If they come out the car and I walk into a shop/garage they go on my collar, moreso out of respect so you can talk to the person behind the till and get eye contact.

Started to wear sunglasses whilst playing Poker I have seen on late TV. I'd class that as cheating personally

Wearing them indoors is stupid, also at night time.

Also if your talking to someone, take them off.

exactly. its very difficult to have a conversation with someone when theyve got sunglasses on.

Its also a bit distracting speaking to someone with the sun in their eyes though as they pull stupid faces in an attempt to block it out.

sorry but what, mine are fine, and the fact I have lost/broken four pairs in 2 years, (left two pairs on top of my car when talking to someone the drove off, one pair on a ticket machine, and ran one pair over when my mate moved my car) I would say next sunglasses work for me.

TBH, you cannot compare the lens quality from cheap sunglasses to those in Raybans and similar.

I used to always buy those cheap ones from Next and the like but they never feel right and or sit properly. Spent a bit extra on a decent pair and they feel right and very comfortable. Wouldn't buy cheap ones again now but I wouldn't take it as far as spending £200 on them either!

Obviously they wont be as good but saying they don't work is wrong, I couldn't buy Raybans etc for the fact I seem to be really good at losing/damaging sunglasses.

Some of us have little choice and have to spend that, sticking glasses over a pair of sunglasses isn't a good look...

I used to be like that, breaking them all the time. Once I got a more expensive pair though I started to be a lot more careful funnily enough Had them over a year now with no accidents...

I only wear sunglasses at TITP to hide the fact I'm wasted and they cost me 2 quid out of ASDA, or free 1 year when they were hid in my 2 quid hat

The mirror finish wore of my T ones in about 30 seconds last year.

As for the lens quality, the cheap ones are a bit of dark plastic, decent ones are proper lenses, the dark plastic one's don't protect your eyes, which is what sunglasses are for after all.

There are exceptions with the inside sunglasses rule.

I got refelctive blindness a few years back and ever since then, if its even slightly sunny, my eyes kill me - so I have my oakleys with me all the time. I do wear them a lot, even in autumn/winter and I may look a cock but I'd rather that I could actually see than be blinded by the slightest bit of sun

If I had to gues, I'd say I;'ve owned my Oakley Straight jackets for 10 years - I've never lost them, they're almost as good a condition today as the day I bought them and when you spend £150+ on a pair of sunglasses - you tend to look after them and not lose them. A young kid once pushed me off the jetty when I used to teach sailing and windsurfing at the end of a week long kids activity week; they sank about 8/9 foot down in clear water and I made the fucker dive down and get them!

The same pair of Oakleys have been to Croatia twice, Tunisia, French Alps numerous times, All over the UK, raced with them on at sea, taught sailing and windsurfing in them, If you pay your money, you do look after them better
