That just looks to impractical, what about fuel?repairs in a battle, break downs? manning it and allready as said could easily be flanked and overpowered. ALso, how long would it have taken to build enough of them to actually have an impact on the war?

To be fair mate, I think its a shame we did win the war (all due respect to the soldiers & people who lost their lives during the war, and all the others that did their bit) but look at the state of our country now and think how it could have been if Hitler had won it. At least going to places like Brixton wouldn't end up in games of spot the white man or translate that squiggle

me and ojc almost got thrown out the holocaust section of the imperial war museum because i kept trying to draw nazi signs on the memos you stick on the wall that were meant to be for leaving messages for the dead jews

As for the aeriel attack, there isnt a payload in WW2 (apart from an american nuke) that would have penetrated the armour of this, as stated only a vehicle with equivalent guns would have damaged it,
IE a 16 inch ship gun, for example.
Hitler wasnt stupid he wouldnt have so fully endorsed this if he didnt think it had some capabilties

There was a program on not so long ago which looked at this, there was no evidence to suggest it was amphibious & there isn't really anything similar that they could compare it to. Bebause of the size of the thing they said it would more than likely get stuck in the mud & be unmovable
Still interesting though, there was also a bit on the missile system he built in France that could reach London
