Gerrard is ineffective from the left, especially if slovenia park the bus. Statement of intent from capello  at least defoe is starting, he looked the tiniest bit brighter than the rest when brought on against algeria.
If it's a stale-mate at 60 or 70 minutes and he doesn't bring joe cole on he needs his head testing as Lennon and SWP are very similar in terms of pace and milner will probably still be on the pitch if he has a half decent game. Guess we'll have to wait and see hey.
