St is a great hatch. Handling is great. Its not all about trafficlight grand prix's and micro penis extentions

Fiesta ST's are slow standard, mountunes 185 pack sees them well. Should of been that from the factory tbh since its ford offering to vauxalls corsa vxr and a vxr would smoke it. I dont find it hard to believe a 1.6 corsa with a few mods would almost keep pace with a standard Fiesta ST

They are hardly slow though, really? They're no Focus RS but people seem to compare them to one

not if the corsa cost the same amount as the st did. i bet the modifcation factor would make the corsa a far better car to drive for the same money. and far faster.

But you are talking about an old Corsa versus a new car. If you take the price of the Corsa when it was new into account then the Fiesta is a far better car

the corsa is built upon a chasis from a nova that was developed in the 70's. its not exactly remotely an argument now is it?

True but 150bhp is fuck all these days from a 2.0 16v engine. Vauxhall were producing redtops with the same bhp 20 years ago.

although back in 1986 there wasnt quite the same emissions and eco friendly rubbish attached to the engine.

Again depends who's driving and what suspension set ups are involve, yes standard a fiesta would probably handle better but its six and a half dozen if they both have decent aftermarket kits fitted. Only difference is your branded a total goon for buying a shitty new fiesta st. Fucking hideous cars.

Yeah exactly Some people are really deluded by the car they own.
My Zetec S outhandle my Corsa by MILES. Both had coilovers fitted. The ST is limited for insurance purposes, I think that's gay and I do agree they should be faster, but come on, they're not 'slow'

I agree.
What BHP is yours running then mate? I put a 4 into 1 branch manifold on mine and it didnt really make a difference.
Ive got 4 into 1, cat back powerflow, vx inlet and a BMC induction on a 1.6 and it only managed 111.5BHP i was proper disappointed
