Don't even need solids for 190bhp but reliability may be an issue! Mine was fine till I over reves it!

Hydraulics want changing to solids if seeing 8k + imo, ok for burst up to 8k though, but if revving that high, it is dual spings, caps, followers, solid profile cams etc = about 1k in just parts.

Only if you have a harsher lift on the cam though.

True, but then could argue that if not running that much lift then you wouldnt need to rev that high in 1st place, you'd only wear engne out quicker.
