When you speak of Hamerite, do you mean the paint you can get from B&Q in those medium sized tins.

They dont say heat resistant but I am still tempted.

Its heat resistant to a certain degree, make sure you get all the rust and brake dust off first otherwise itll look poo. I used hammerite high heat to be sure.
