The fact that you are still hankering after a Focus RS says to me you should go for it IN WHITE ONLY
Otherwise i'd consider
Megane R26R
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1816948.htm
Supercharged Lotus Elise S2
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1733873.htm
Audi S3
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1609047.htm
Audi RS4
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1832228.htm
If we had no kids i'd either be in stripped Astra VXR, Lotus Elise S2 or a R26R

how much do you drive the BMW? iirc not too mega miles?
couldn't you get some even more special than a ford focus. No doubt a decent and capable car but how quickly will the novelty of it all wear off.

Focus RS is Chav especially in Green, and White, what are you, back in 2007. If anything i would only have a black one(which i know they don't do).
